There is not a VIP option Everyone waits on the same line to get in. This line gets extremely long. Our wait time ended up being 2 hours. We arrived around 9:45pm. There are no food options offered at this location. Plan to come with snacks if you get hungry and dress appropriately. The line is all outdoors. For the blood experience you are given an all-white t-shirt. If you have a shirt from previous years, you get a $5 discount on your ticket price! Plan to wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting ruined. You WILL get covered in fake blood, black liquid material, paper confetti along with whatever else they feel like incorporating for the night! Bathrooms are behind the building. There are 2 available for customer usage. There was 1 actor roaming around dressed like a silent hill nurse. She had a syringe full of blood and she terrorized the customers in line as they waited to get into the attraction. Make sure to plan accordingly, as we came early on in the season and waited 2 hours to get in. As the season progresses the lines and wait times will get exceptionally longer. Plan to arrive early, as you will need to purchase your tickets in person as well as sign a waiver before you can get on line for the attraction.
Covid-19 Precautions:
This season every haunt has had a different approach to covid procedures. This Year At Halls of Horror Masks were completely voluntary which is in alignment with CDC and PA State Guidelines. Folks who wanted to wear them did so, and those who did not want to; did not. As always, you are in control of your own space, if social distancing is important to you, please be mindful of your physical space and keep a distance from those around you. If ever you’re uncomfortable with someone’s positioning in relation to where you are, kindly communicate with them to keep a safe distance. We highly recommend bringing your own travel size sanitizer to use at your convenience if this is of importance to you. This attraction is an EXTREME event. If you are worried about COVID related issues I would suggest opting for the regular attraction option.
Halls of Horror is available in two options, the normal experience, and the blood experience. We are only able to speak on the blood experience as we have never done the regular haunt. You are sent into the attraction with only your group. If opting for the blood experience You are given safety googles to protect your eyes. The blood experience is very EXTREME. You will be put into rated R situations, with extreme adult content, sexual content, foul language, you will face scenes which are considered politically incorrect. Some notable scenes include: Satanic rituals, Artificial insemination with SEMEN, Rape scenes, abortion, incest, JUST TO NAME A FEW. You must have an open mind and must not be easily offended to enjoy yourself at this attraction.
